We will be making a trip to the Amazon River onto Lake Tepishca, March 22 through April 14. This trip is a little longer than most of the trips we have made to this point. There are seven villages along this lake and we plan to minister in all of them. We will be training the people in proper hygiene, building latrines and giving them filters to purify their water. These things will enable them to have a healthier life. Our main mission, of course, is to tell them about Jesus. We will be doing dramas featuring stories of the life of Jesus and the people he ministered to. We will show the "Jesus Story" and "God's Story" videos. We will give gifts and treats to the children. We will leave Bibles, including solar powered Bibles, in each village. After we have been to all seven of the villages we will have a large meeting at a designated location for the converts to get together for preaching, teaching and worshiping. We are hoping to have a pentecostal outpouring of the Holy Spirit. If you are interested in going with us, give me a call at 423-309-5217. The cost of the trip is $2,500.00.
